Crafted from ancient Syrah and Black Grenache vines, this cuvée begins in our most privileged parcels—sun-drenched and sheltered from the Mistral wind on ancestral soils. During the veraison, we perform a meticulous green harvest, thinning the vines to select only the finest clusters and concentrate the aromas. At peak maturity, the grapes are harvested entirely by hand.
Reserved only for exceptional years, ABSOLU undergoes a patient two-year maturation in new 400-liter oak barrels. Boldly woody, this wine is a masterpiece of intensity and aromatic richness, unveiling deep notes of black fruit jam, licorice, spices, and forest undergrowth.
