GALA EVENING WEEKEND OF THE TRUFFLE 2019 IN UZÈS

Twenty domains of the AOP Duché d’Uzès were present for this 2019 edition of the soirée vigneronne.

Sébastien Arnaux & Thomas Clamant inducted the Bacchic compagny.

During of the truffle from the 18th to the 20th of January 2019, on the Friday 18th of January, the Bacchic compagny of the AOP Duché d’Uzès inducted two people.

In 2019, it’s Sébastien Arnaux, the director of the Pont du Gard, and Thomas Clamant, the chef who took part in the event “vin côté cour” 2019, who are the lucky inductees.
The soirée vigneronne is an oppportunity for txenty domains of the AOP Duché d’Uzès to present their wines.Wines of the AOP Duché d’Uzès are accompanied by a black truffle-based buffet, the famous winter truffle from the Uzège, Tuber melanosporum.

Starred chefs illuminate the gala evening

The much awaited gala evening of the weekend of the truffle in Uzès took place on the Saturday 19th of January 2019. The starred chefs of the Gard sublimated the truffle, presenting a range of different dishes.
Brillat-Savarin had named the truffle the “diamond of the kitchen”. During the great evening, the so-called truffle shone brightly, accompanied by the wines AOP Duché d’Uzès. Among the chefs were present: Fabien Fage, Jérôme Nutile, Christophe Ducros, Sébastien Rath, Damien Sanchez…
